IBPS CRP RRB PO VIII Eligibility Criteria

The IBPS RRB Officer Scale I Eligibility Criteria specify the Age limit, Educational qualification, and Nationality of the candidates. Age Limit for IBPS RRB Officer VIII Exam

  • For Officer Scale I: Aspirants applying for IBPS RRB Officer Scale I exam must be between 18 years to 30 years. That means candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.07.1990 and later than 30.06.2002.
  • For Officer Scale II: Candidates must be between 21 years to 32 years to apply for RRB Officer Scale II posts. That meanse. candidatesshould not have been born earlier than 03.07.1988 and later than 30.06.1999 are only eligible.
  • For Officer Scale III: The Age limit for the applicants for Officer Scale III post is 21 years to 40 years. That means you should not be born earlier than 03.07.1980 and later than 30.06.1999

Upper Age Relaxation:

SC/ ST categories 5 years
OBC category 3 years
PWD candidates 10 years
Ex- servicemen, commissioned officers, including ECOs/ SSCOs 5 years
Domicile of Kashmir during the period of

Educational Qualification for CRP RRB PO

The educational qualification for RRB Officer Scale – I, II, and III are as follows. Any graduation degree is required for CRP RRBs. So, if you want to know the post wise vacancy details, you can check the below sections.

Officer Scale I
  • Candidates must hold a degree in any discipline or equivalent from any recognized University or Institute.
  • They must have proficiency in the local language that means for which state they wish to apply for.
  • Computer knowledge or awareness will be an added skill.
Officer Scale II
  • General Banking Officer
    • Aspirants must hold a Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
    • IBPS will give preference to the candidates having a degree in Banking, Marketing, Finance, Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Forestry, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Information Technology, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Law, Management, Economics and Accountancy.
    • The Postulants must also have two years experience as an Officer in any Bank or Financial Institution.
  • Specialist Officer
    • A degree in Electronics/ Communication/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Law/ Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy/ Forestry etc. from a recognised University with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks is desirable.
    • The applicants must have experience in the relevant field.
    • For Chartered Account/ Treasury Manager/ Marketing Officers, Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or MBA with one year experience is desirable.
Officer Scale III
  • Candidates must have done degree/ diploma in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the students who have done Degree/ Diploma in Finance, Marketing, Banking, Information Technology, Horticulture, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Forestry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Marketing and Co-operation, Pisciculture, Law, Management, Economics and Accountancy.
  • Aspirants must have minimum 5 years experience as an Officer in any Bank or Financial Institutions.

IBPS RRB PO Salary

The Selection process of IBPS RRB 2021 exam consists of Online exam and Interview. For Officers Scale 1 post, the online exam was conducted in two stages namely Preliminary exam and Mains exam. Whereas for the RRB Officers Scale 2 & 3, there is only one stage of written exam followed by a common interview. IBPS Exam Center for RRB Officer posts

Since IBPS conducts RRB PO exam in most of the cities, the exam centers will be spread in most of the states. The List of centers available for the Preliminary exam is Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, Rajasthan, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal. Whereas for the RRB PO Mains exam, the list may be limited. The authorities reserve the right to cancel any of the Examination Centres and/ or add some other Centres, depending upon the response, no. of candidates applied, administrative feasibility, etc. Also, the officials will not entertain the change of examination centers for the exam. CRP RRB PO VIII Online Registration

Candidates who wish to join any one of the Regional Rural Banks or Gramin Banks as Group A officers must register themselves for the Common Recruitment Process (CRP for RRBs VIII). Before applying online, one must have a valid email id, degree certificate, scanned copies of recent passport size photograph and signature as per the given format. IBPS will adopt the procedure of the equi-percentile method or rounds off the score up to two decimal points for calculating the score of mains and prelims exam. For the officer’s cadre, the relative weightage given to CRP and Interview is 80:20. So, based on the marks you scored in both written exam and interview, the final result will be declared. Once the IBPS RRB Officer Final Result is out, you can download the score cards. The IBPS RRB PO Score card consists of candidate details, marks obtained in each section, total marks, the status of the candidate, and cut off as per section and their category.

IBPS RRB Officer Provisional Allotment Process

In the Provisional Allotment process, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection will allow the shortlisted candidates in any of the Gramin banks. Based on the merit of the candidate and his/ her bank preference during the online registration process, provisional allotment will be done. Hence, the Provisional Allotment Order will be given only for those who cleared the final cutoff marks in both the written exam and interview.   • A valid system generated print out of the RRB PO VIII online application form.
  • A copy of the valid IBPS RRB Interview Call Letter.
  • Photo Identify Proof such as Aadhaar Card/ PAN Card/ Voter Id/ Driving License/ Passport.
  • Date of Birth proof (Birth Certificate issued by the Competent Municipal Authorities or SSLC/ Std. X Certificate with DOB).
  • Mark-sheets and certificates of Graduation degree or equivalent qualification etc. Applicants should submit proper documents from Board / University for having declared the result on or before last date.
  • Caste Certificate for SC / ST / OBC category candidates that are issued by the competent authority in the directed format as stipulated by Government of India.
  • Experience Certificates if applicable.
  • Aspirants belonging to Ex-servicemen category need to submit the requisite certificate.
  • Any other relevant documents in support of candidate’s eligibility.
